The fine print, plainly.
What exactly is a page-check?
One page of your document reviewed against one policy. Check a 100-page issue against the Saudi pack and the China pack, and that's 200 page-checks. Need a page checked against several markets at once? Roll them into a single custom pack and it's still one page-check per page, not one per market. It's the only number you need to predict your bill, and it scales with exactly what you use. Each page-check draws down your credit balance at 1 credit ($0.01) apiece, no separate plan or overage rate to track.
How accurate is it? Do we still need a human?
Every finding carries a category, a severity, and a confidence score, so your reviewer reads the flagged pages instead of the whole issue. You keep the decision; Moderatech replaces the reading, not the judgment. In practice that turns a half-day review into minutes of checking flags.
Which formats and languages are covered?
PDF and EPUB, up to full magazine and book length. The engine reads both the text and the rendered page images, so photo spreads, ads, maps, and illustrations are screened, not just body copy. Coverage is multilingual, including Arabic and right-to-left layouts.
Where does our content go?
Files are processed in AWS eu-west-1 (Ireland), are never used to train models, and are purged on a schedule you control. Reviews themselves (findings, verdicts, policy versions) stay in your history for auditing.
We're a distributor. We can't modify publishers' content.
Right, and you never have to. Moderatech doesn't touch the file: you get per-market verdicts, page-level evidence, and an audit trail, and the carry / hold / talk-to-the-publisher decision stays yours. Editing based on findings is for publishers reviewing their own titles.
Our rules aren't any of your packs.
Good, that's normal. Packs are starting points: tune the sensitivity per category, clone a pack into a house variant, or have us encode your exact editorial guidelines as a private versioned pack that we maintain for you.
We don't have developers.
